SVEIN AMUND SKARA,
CONCERT PIANIST AND ORGANIST
Svein Amund Skara has given concerts in
Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Germany, France,
Latvia, Scotland, England, Switzerland and
USA. In the last few years he has given the

Skara has an extremely
extensive piano and organ repertoire. He
has appeared on the radio and television
both at home and abroad, and has been
involved in recordings.
Svein Amund Skara got
his Master’s Degree as Organist and Church
Musician at Tröndelag Conservatory of Music
in 1982 and a University Diploma in
piano/chamber music (Master of Music) at The
Norwegian State Academy of Music in 1984. He
made his debut as a pianist in 1984 and as
an organist in 1989. Skara has studied
organ with
Björn Kaare Moe, Björn F.
Boysen and Harald Herresthal.
He has studied piano with
Einar Steen-Nökleberg, Eva
Knardahl and Jiri Hlinka.
Award winner in several competitions.
